Human-AI collaborative literature exploration and hypothesis generation.
AwesomeLit is a human-AI research system that helps early-stage researchers explore unfamiliar literature, understand provenance, identify gaps, and develop feasible hypotheses.
I built the interactive system with Next.js, LangGraph, React Flow, and large language models. Its transparent human-in-the-loop workflow exposes query expansion and exploration paths rather than hiding them behind a single generated report. We evaluated the system in a mixed-methods user study and published the work as a EuroVis 2026 Short Paper.
